Well if we really want to put on our tin foil hats, we could have an "argument" about whether it actually was rigged to get that asshat Dolan to sell the team and get him out of the league.

Last night could also be viewed as the NBA protecting one of its franchises and throwing the Pelicans a bone after the season-long Anthony Davis drama, knowing that they will barely be able to sell any tickets without a young, replacement star in place.
