  • Training camp started but the phills

Are on mutha fing fiiirree. I'm starting to think we see them playing some ball in late october. All the home runs tonight. They are the eagles, just find a way.
On another note. Who has the best reports for training camp?

Even though they look good and are growing, they really need to make a trade for another bat (OF) and a lefty reliever or they are going nowhere in the end. They better not sit on their hands.

Stop pissing in the cornflakes Ant

This team has no right to be where they are, and yet he they are!

This is a really fun ride. Just strap on a seat belt and enjoy it!

Give it a break Ant, unless you define winning the NL East and making the playoffs for the first time in seven years as "going nowhere" they don't need to make either of those deals.

They don't need another outfield bat, Nick Williams is establishing himself as an everyday starter.

Austin Davis is a perfectly competent southpaw bullpen piece.

If anything, they need to acquire Escobar from the Twins and send Kingery to AAA where he belongs. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing them trade for a starting pitcher and move Pivetta to the bullpen. If he struggles tonight you just may see that happen. With that said, you don't need a fourth or fifth starter in the playoffs so this probably isn't one of their highest priorities. Should they make the playoffs you will see them roll with Nola, Arrieta, and Eflin.

        Hernandez
        Hoskins
        Herrera
        Franco
        Escobar
        Williams
        Santana
        Alfaro

is a lineup that could potentially propel the Phils to the NL Pennant.
