I’m just not seeing it with this team. Brett Brown stinks.

Shut your mouth! These games mean nothing, and this team has proven time and time again that they can turn it on when needed.

Also, ignore the final minute of the Atlanta game...that kind of horrendous breakdown in the final minute rarely happens with this team

What the fuck you talking about?? They have not locked up the 3 seed so the games do mean something

The seeds don't matter, the last minute blunders don't matter. This team will "flip the switch" come playoff time.

I think most sixers fans who are normal would rather play the pistons in round 1 instead of boston

It just depends on what you expect to see. They did win 6 straight before these 2 bad losses, with very good victories over the Pacers, Bucks, and Celtics.

They've settled into what they should be - the 3 seed in the East - so I'm not going to get too upset about what happens for the rest of the regular season. The Raptors and Bucks are better, but I do worry that they'll blow a perfectly good chance to beat one of those teams.

I think the Raps are...not sure about Bucks, even if they have the best record.

I'm concerned about Brown, but I'm not concerned about the players. What did they win - like 17 in a row last year before the playoffs? Didn't do them a ton of good. I think once the playoffs start, this team will be dialed in.

The NBA is a weird league because of the physical and mental drain. It's so hard for a team to be up all the time. I know people don't want to hear that about guys making millions, but I think it is true. Guys like Jordan and Kobe are exceptions.

I'm concerned about the players. They make poor decisions constantly. Poor turnovers constantly. I'm more shocked when they have 10 turnovers or less than when they don't.

I hear that. I was referring more to their mindset. These guys are all pros and know how to play basketball. If sloppy play continues into the playoffs, then I think you have to look at the coach and leadership.

I just don't get too worked up over any one game (or stretch of games) in the NBA season. Not saying they don't matter (I thought the last Boston game "mattered") but I guess I bake in a lot of this stuff to my expectations for the regular season. Once the playoffs get here then it is all about specific matchups, strategy and execution. My expectations will be high.

Honestly, I don't know what to expect. I mean, their bench is shitty but hopefully that won't matter too much in the playoffs when the bench is hopefully shorter.

My biggest concern is that their defense seems to have gotten worse since last year and the thought is that it would have gotten better with the additions. Then again, having Milton and Smith for a full year might have changed things (especially since Smith was considered a very good perimeter defender with potential for more). I just hope they give smith and Milton more time over these remaining few games.
