  • Hey Ken O Canada Ehhhhhh! check out the list of performers

this was clearly one of the highlights of my concert going days,,acts that I would only see once and man did I appreciate it,,helped shape me even more as a musician!
Paul Butterfield played Harmonica for Wilson Pickett,,Bob Geldof was so popular after Playing Pinky in the Wall,,,also lead vocals on Floyds have a cigar! Yes was Disco yes,,but still they played a lot of good tunes Including Heart of the Sunrise,,Sadly Zeppelin did not get on stage till 1 am,,,they were Smashed,,,sounded amazing being there, but page was a shell of himself, the recordings don't do it justice.,,,very Proud to have the seen the Rascals and the Spinners, Roberta Flack, Manhattan transfer were great along with the amazing Harmonies of CSN....Still to this day I can't believe it happened,,,and Ohh yes Foreigner was great! Loved um, Juke Box hero Killed it!,,Iron Butterfly rocked!,,,Paul rodgers played so many smokin blues tunes,,and Plant had his solo act which sounded better than Zep,,,Over all 13 straight hrs of music,,,,I paid $100 to get in,,,Never thought I would ever pay that much for a concert again.....

Wont tell you what I paid to see Rush's last concert at MSG

This, Jason Bonhams wedding, and LiveAid were the only time that they had been on stage together before the O2 concert in 2007. Of course Plant and Page did their thing but that was without John Paul Jones. Read about this concert in Hammer of the Gods and the author alluded to the same thing about Page who was in the midst of his substance abuse issues.
Canada is like a really nice apartment over a meth lab.

Too bad Queen wasn't on Atlantic

o2 concert was kinda junk,,at lease the show I saw was a 4 piece with a boy Jason,,,I closed my eyes and when John Paul Jones and Jason swung the Hammer,,,sounded exact,,powerful thunderous Hammer of the Gods...

The Bee Gee,s Genesis, was the Collins Version,,,we were hanging in the hallway with Ellwood,,"Dan Aykroyd" drinking booze and checking out Chicks!
Steve Cropper had Donald duck Dunn on bass....just amazing

3 was ELP Minus Lake,,,hada fill in..The Average White Band,,,,great horns Riccardo would have been jamming on pick up the Pieces...
