Not defending this heinous act, but if you are going to bash him for doing this in the 70's, than you have to bash almost every rock star back then too. They all banged groupies who were in their early teens while the rockers were in their 20's. No matter what he did, he's still one of the best players ever and deserves to be in the HOF!Comment

Honestly, if the stories are true, he was having 12 to 14 years old delivered to him at Spring Training? If the story was the same the other way around, as you mentioned, than yeah, it would still be quite fucked up and disgusting.

Regardless, I always felt Pete Rose was an asshole when he played for the Reds ... but in 1980 he was our asshole.

This was the previous story, before this girl came out (it obviously wasn't proven):
