  • So... Anyone excited about Twin Peaks coming back?

Nothing really exciting is gonna happen around here the next few days, so we may as well talk amongst ourselves.

In all honesty, this is something I follow maybe a little more than the Eagles. My wife and I are heading to the festival in Washington state in July.

That's awesome. If I had a good place for it, I'd order this print.

A TON of new merchandise is out there. The Showtime store has some really cool stuff. Hoping for some unique non-commercial items at the fest. A great fan community...

Finally got it done, hmm? Nice
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

            BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

That was every bit as boring and confusing as the finale 25 years ago!

Really? I fucking loved every last minute of it. Pretty straight forward..."good Dale" is going be tasked with tracking down his evil doppelganger who was created at the Black Lodge in the Season 2 finale and is possessed by Bob.

                I liked it.

Always been a huge David Lynch fan.
                That was some quirky shit.

I'm not a fan of Twin Peaks

but I read New York magazine's webpage often.

All this past week the home page has been doing this thing where it morphs from something about NYC into something about the town where Twin Peaks is situated.

Part of why I like it are looking for the pop culture references

Like the recreation of the Pink Floyd album cover for Animals in the opening credits

Just give me a minute to pull my lululemon pants out of my ass crack and take off my scarf and I'll explain the way Lynch has reached the core of the evil that possesses man.

Oh shit ... can't do it now, I just got an eBay alert for a vintage Hey Arnold t-shirt ... gotta go.

Yep, cant wait. If it has half the quirks of the first running its going to be a blast, its not for everyone but for some its a great cult classic.

My wife loved that show and is excited to see what they came up with now. I was never into it(too bizarre for my liking) and could care less.
