    I have no idea if this guy is credible but ....'@BridgewellNBA Source says #Lakers trade to land Jahlil Okafor is "imminent". Includes Jordan Clarkson and removing pick protection. #Sixers'.

                He should have his knee scoped and recover ASAP, IMO. I do not believe this is a super major injury, but it is definitely disturbing that Embiid does appear to be injury prone.

                  PS One concern I do have is that frequently meniscial injury is associated with ACL injury.

                    I would prefer they don't cut him open if they don't have to do it. If it's not acute...It most likely doesnt need surgery.

                    The reason he got hurt is that he isn't in basketball shape. He needs to drop 10-15 pounds. Get his legs underneath him and play under control more.

                      A scope and a clean out of an meniscal tear is a relatively minor procedure. If it is not more than that I say do it now. Totally depends upon the injury and I am not a doctor. But I will say that any debris that could be floating around in the knee capsule is not a good thing.

                        It all depends...I've had 2 meniscus surgeries. One was a 4 month recovery and one was a 3 week recovery.

                          Okafor had a "minor" meniscus surgery and still has issues. If it is minor like they are saying...Best to try non-surgical methods first.

                              bad strategy for the Lakers as they owe another 1st rounder to Orlando a year after the Sixers pick conveys. That pick turns into 2 2nd rounders instead of a 1st after 2018 or 19 I think, so they they really need to keep their pick this year. If you are one who thinks the lottery if fixed then you can bet the Laker's pick falls into the top 3 again.
